Building the Financial Sustainability of CSOs in Kyrgyzstan

Local Subject Matter Expert

Local Subject Matter Experts to be included in the SUSTAIN 2021 project are required to fulfil the following criteria:

Must Have

1. 2 years experience in the area of financial sustainability, resource mobilisation, financial planning or a related subject. Revenue generation i.e fundraising.
2. Extensive knowledge of the local context (Kyrgyzstan)
3. Extensive knowledge of the local CSO/NGO sector (Kyrgyzstan) and how this sector relates to the other key sectors (public and private)

Good to have

1. 2 years experience in the area of learning and development
2. 2 years experience in mentoring and coaching
3. Experience of delivering trainings, workshops etc. in similar subjects
4. Good knowledge of local humanitarian sector and best practices
5. Good working knowledge of MS office and virtual meeting platforms
6. Excellent Russian language skills required (Kyrgyzstan)
7. Experience of working with NAMA and receiving training from NAMA previously

Local Subject Matter Experts to be included in the SUSTAIN 2021 project are required to commit to the following activities:

1. Participate in the 3 day Training of Trainers course and complete all required activities and tasks for the course as per the approval of the course facilitator
2. Participate in Financial Sustainability module training (total 12 days) and complete all required activities and tasks for the course as per the approval of the course facilitator
3. Undergo any further mentoring and coaching training required for inclusion in the project
4. Facilitate mentoring and coaching with local CSOs with the guidance of lead mentor
5. 10 working days of mentoring and coaching to be carried out with local CSOs under the guidance of lead mentor
