Posting Title:  Back-up Language and Cross-Cultural Facilitators

(Open to Kyrgyzstan Nationals only)

Duty Station:  BISHKEK city

Period:  On an intermittent/as-needed basis

Peace Corps/Kyrgyz Republic seeks Back-up Language and Cross-Cultural Facilitators (LCF) to help in conducting a training program for a new group of Peace Corps Volunteers in the Kyrgyz Republic.

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in the relevant field
• Teaching local/foreign language experience (experience working in public schools in rural areas is an advantage)
• Fluent in English and Kyrgyz

Other knowledge and skills on which you will be evaluated include:

• Facilitation and training skills
• Strong communicative teaching methods
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Terms of work: May – August 2024

The individual will be required to follow any workplace health and/or safety rules indicated for their position specified in Peace Corps policies – including complying with any medical and/or training requirements the policy/policies specify.
