Background:

The International Republican Institute (IRI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan,
organization dedicated to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide. Since 1983, IRI
has worked to develop democratic institutions and ideals, carrying out a variety of
international programs to promote freedom, self-government and the rule of law
worldwide. IRI provides technical assistance in the areas of political party strengthening,
developing civic institutions and open elections, promoting democratic governance and
advancing the rule of law.
IRI is seeking an organization with knowledge and expertise to implement a women’s
leadership academy in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at empowering young women leaders through
increasing their civic engagement and leadership skills. This twelve-month project will help
to encourage the active involvement of young women in addressing their community
challenges.
Eligibility: IRI is looking for an organization with Professional fluency in English and
Kyrgyz and partner has at least three years of experience working on women’s
empowerment and leadership development & in monitoring and evaluation to assess
program outcomes and impact
Period of Performance: August 2024 – July 2025
